I have been meaning to start blogging for years. This is the post where I stop meaning to, and actually start — and where I lay out what this blog is going to be about.

Why now

I keep losing context. Something I solved six months ago turns up again, and the only record of how I solved it is a Slack thread I can no longer find. Writing it down is the cheapest way to keep that knowledge.

What this will be about

Mostly the quiet parts of building software — backends, infra, AI workflows, and the small decisions that turn out to matter. Some of it will be opinions. Some of it will be code. None of it will be marketing.

What it won’t be

It will not be a tutorial site. It will not chase trends. It will not have a newsletter signup popup three seconds after you land.

That is the whole pitch. The next post is already half-drafted — about the microservices setup we actually run at work.
